Xbaps are just multiplying by the day... Just came across this interesting xbap which runs VistaSmalltalk sessions. Its got a nice usage of popups.

Why dont bitmap effects in WPF not take advantage of GPU/Pixel shaders etc. Please, in WPF vnext, use the GPU more and extend those GPU-based effects even to videos thru Media Foundation/DirectShow. Then give us an on-the-fly effects composer tool which can save those as screensavers and apply the effects to videos in Live Messenger. What do u get? Core Image, Core Video, Quart Composer and Photo Booth. Please forward this feature request to the WPF team. :)
