Did you grow up on desktop development, move to servers, and now write code for the coolest devices? Do you find yourself talking to the development community via blogs and forums? Microsoft has a unique opportunity for you to extend your technical influence to our expanding mobile developer base.
Responsibilities include:
- Technical Product Management
- Drive and manage our content ‘pipeline’ of developer related materials including articles, whitepapers, samples, webcasts, podcasts, etc.
- Develop samples, snippets and whitepapers
- Consult with product group on platform decisions, APIs, tools and documentation
- Community Outreach
- Expand Community outreach through influentials
- Support MVP leads as primary Product Group contact
- Participate in the community through forums and blogs
- Evangelism
- Speak at key developer events
- Consult with select customers on Windows Mobile development strategies
- Represent Windows Mobile Development in print through writing and technical reviews
Successful candidates will possess a strong passion for mobile technology, including a successful track record in technical product marketing, developer evangelism and mobile development. Qualifications include 5+ years development experience both managed and native, excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferably published), and cross-group collaboration experience. A technical degree with MBA is a plus.
