Lots of moolah for Mobile Content Companies

Katie Fehrenbacher from GigaOM wrote a post about Venture firms and investors putting a lot of emphasis and investing into startups that create or enable mobile content. Here's a snippet:

Yesterday mobile search and content company go2 said it has raised $13 million, mobile entertainment company Thumbplay said it has raised $15 million, mobile content company Wmode said it raised $6 million, and mobile video-ad company Rhythm NewMedia said it’s raised $18 million

That was just one day.

Finally we see venture companies believing in the impact and killer potential of mobile devices and how much it has grown to not only change the way we work but also our lifestyle. If you're in the mobile business, it's time to start going on the overdrive and get your share of these investment dollars.
