Micrsosoft Code Snippet Designer - Alpha is available!

For those of you who develop with Visual Studio 2005 would know, Code Snippets have you a TON of time. For those of you who do a lot of developer demos, code snippets are absolutely essential. Trying to make code snippets might sound easy, esp with guides like this, but still a very manual process. There's Snippy, but still not something you'd expect from a GUI tool.

Joe Morel from the Visual Studio team blogged about the availability of the Microsoft Code Snippet Designer.

I can't find the file template from NEW->File after installed the tool. I think the reason is that the installing directory of VS8 in my computer is under D disk. Please check the install pack.

A few minor things, when saving a snippet it doesnt seem to update the Title node in the XML snippet that is outputted, it reads "SnippetFile1".

Also I dont seem to be able to scroll with my wheel mouse in the editor window when editing a snippet.
