Video Chat via the browser. www.TokBox.com

This is pretty cool. TechCrunch revealed them today and I quickly went over to take a look at what all the fuss is about. To my surprise, the web browser integration is pretty slick. There is hardly any setup required and the traditional barrier of entry to get video chat up and running is gone.

There isn't a lot of features yet but you can really see where this technology is going. It improves the video chat experience similar to what YouTube did to watching streaming videos online.

What I find really amusing is the amount of guys trying to hit on the TokBox Support hottie, Lauren.

Blatant rip-off of the globalipvideo products.

The instant web integration is definitely a plus - I don't have to do anything, it finds and adapts to my pc and logitech cam, all I have to do is 'click'!

A 'ripoff'? Off what, may I ask, and where were they all along, when I needed this kind of application? SUPER site in my opinion - see you all there!
