By now, MSDN subscribers know that there is an "Avalon" Community Tech Preview available.  This includes the .NET 2.0 Beta 1 Framework and "Avalon" assemblies along with the WinFX SDK.  Make sure to check it out if you are an MSDN subscriber.  Unfortunately, the general public will need to wait for an official beta sometime in 2005, but they can view the current SDK documentation here: http://winfx.msdn.microsoft.com/

The "Avalon" bits (assemblies and SDK) are all pre-beta so use at your own risk (don't install on your main/production machines!).  It also means that the SDK is fairly incomplete.  If there are specific areas you'd like us to make sure to cover for the next WinFX Community Tech Preview SDK, let me know and I'll see what we can do.

The SDK team is also working hard on the next PSDK pre-release to coincide with the upcoming RC for Windows Server 2003 SP1.

Last but not least, we're working on our security push for the Whidbey .NET SDK for Beta2 in the Spring.
