Remarkable Message...

Any time you interact with someone, you have a chance to be "remarkable."

Voicemail is one of those. There are some basics and then there is the chance to stand out.

I was very excited when Russ from RJBTech wrote in today:

Hey Jeremy.  Great idea on the voicemail message.

I changed the voicemail on my cell phone to one similar to what you suggested but with a slight twist that made it more specific to our business.  It works!

The best reaction that I’ve gotten so far is from the Microsoft employees that are calling me.  Almost everyone that has called me since Friday has made a comment about my new message.

Thanks for the tip!

And you know what? Russ is succeeding. If people are making remarks, then you are remarkable.

Mine says:

"To bypass this message, please press # [see why]. I am out saving the world with Microsoft technology, so I'll have to call you back. Have a great day!"

I'm not saying it's the only way, but I know it works.
