They've done a HUGE number of innovative things and their competition is forcing Microsoft to deliver more value to customers. I think MSFT views GOOG as a competitor and

re: Little Details...

I would totally agree with you - if you (by You - I mean your company of course - nothing personal) do the same...

But as you can see in my blog (click my name) Microsoft has a new site for Windows Mobile - with an interesting concept UI - you can like it or hate it.

And this UI is made by ADOBE FLASH...

So Google doesn't have OS (yet...) so they use yours.

But you do have Silverlight - so why would you use Flash?

re: Little Details...

Yonatan,

I agree that MS should be held to the same standard...and there are plenty of examples where we fall short, but I wouldn't agree that we can't recognize it in othes and learn from it.

Again, I am not trying to make fun of Google here, I just think it is an example of a little thing (changing the screensaver--no one, or very few, expect their own OS--hopefully, not soon ;-) it's just one thing that sends, I think, the wrong message.

MS needs to avoid the same mistake.

Perhaps it will make us both better.

Good point, though and thanks for the comment!
