Robot Invasion
Great to see the BritBots event! (You know, where you use MSN Messenger or whatever to respond direct to user direction. You still don't? Not even the Encarta bot (encarta@botmetro.net). Well, give it a go: ask it a question)
Anyway, with all of the available APIs out there, I reckon we could see some great stuff. If nothing else, it'll make my contacts list look better.
Some suggestions from me...
- "Travel instructions to and from a postcode"-bot
- "Where's the nearest boozer?"-bot
- "What's on telly tonight?"-bot
- "Give me a recipe for <ingredient>"-bot
OK, so you can do a lot better - but between those four, I'd probably never speak to another human.
