Microsoft Operations Framework Datasheet

The Microsoft Operations Framework, a discipline for operational efficiency. It is acknowledged widely by the business community that organizations have a significant dependency on information technology (IT) for business operations. IT infrastructures are often an integral part of business services and products. This dependency highlights the need for operational excellence in order to succeed and remain competitive in a global economy.

Available: Microsoft Solution for Management Glossary

Announcing the release of the Microsoft Solutions for Management (MSM) Glossary version 3.0. The MSM glossary defines terms used in MSM core intellectual property—for example, the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) Process Model for Operations—and in solution accelerators and other deliverables created by the MSM team. The glossary also includes a significant number of terms used by Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF v3), as MOF processes rely on the project management best practices of MSF (Microsoft Solutions Framework). Terms from other groups are also included in several cases. Please send any suggestions for new terms or corrections to msmfeed@microsoft.com.
