Mobile and Embedded Devcon site now open

Just reading Mike Halls blog and picked up about US MEDC: this years combined Windows Mobile and Windows Embedded show has just opened its web site for registration. No detailed agenda as yet.

This year’s event looks set to be a real gem:

  • It’s been extended to 4 days to accommodate the embedded sessions (a chance to experience Mike Hall in action is not to be missed!)
  • The long anticipated Visual Studio 2005 beta 2 is likely to get quite a bit of attention around mobile developer improvements.
  • Expect lots of more detailed info around Compact Framework v2.0.
  • There is likely to be information around Windows Mobile OS futures as well.
  • Lots and lots of devices on show - hopefully some of the devices shown at 3GSM WC.
  • Oh and it’s in Vegas.

There are likely to be re-runs of a sub set of the content in various countries around the world (no details available yet) but if you can afford to take 4 days off work, this is the place to be.
