Event Tactics

Yesterday I was at the NEC in Birmingham (UK) manning the Microsoft stand at the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) exhibition to show the Thames Valley Police mobile application. Being the first day of the event the hall was a little on the quiet side so the crew from a stand nearby had an inovative idea. Taking advantage of the demographic mix (mostly middle aged men in suits) they had two young, attractive women wander round the hall to 'encourage' delegates to their stand... seemed to be working! Should Microsoft try this at out events?

# re: Event Tactics

If you want to avoid looking liking a bunch of pathetic, sexist, marketing morons, then don't do it.

On the other hand, if you want to encourage more pathetic, sexist, marketed morons to come to your stand, then do.

Oh what ridiculous times we live in.
