Rese pubbliche le specifiche dei formati binari di Office 97-2007
Da ieri sul sito di interop di Microsoft sono disponibili le specifiche del formato binario di Office 97-2000-2003-XP-2007. Questo permette a chiunque di utilizzare liberamente anche il formato binario, oltre a quello XML-based presente in Office 2007, in aderenza alla Microsoft Open Specification Promise.
Le specifiche coprono i seguenti prodotti/tecnologie : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office Drawing, Windows Compound Binary File Format Specification,Windows Metafile Format (.wmf) Specification ed infine Ink Serialized Format (ISF) Specification.
