Database Maintenance for SharePoint Whitepaper
In questi giorni è uscito un utilissimo whitepaper (Database Maintenance for SharePoint) sulla maintenance del database di SharePoint mostrando esempi concreti di funzioni supportate e consigliate da Microsoft.
Le macro aree di analisi sono :
· Checking database integrity.
· Defragmenting indexes by either reorganizing them or rebuilding them.
· Setting the fill factor for a server.
· Shrinking databases to recover unused disk space.
Gli esempi e le considerazioni sono su SQL 2005 e non SQl 2000.
