Back at work after 3 weeks, 40-50,000 kms travelled, about 20 hours in airport lounges, 700 photos, lots of great memories and a partridge in a pear tree
I'm back after a glorious 3 weeks in Australia and raring to go with so much stuff to do and play with. But just for my friends and family that check out this blog (why my family would ever read this I don't know) here are a couple of teaser photos until I get them sorted and up onto FlickR:

So much stuff has been going on while I have been down under. My top 5:
1. Expression product announcements and Flash on the Beach.
2. "WPF/E" released in Community Technology Preview and lots of people developing stuff for it already including Channel9. Download it here
3. Our DDD4 Channel 9 video going live. Do I really sound like that?!
4. We are going on tour after launch and are looking for venues and people to talk to. Oh yeah, and there is a big launch thing happening before that as well. Check out the tour blog for more details and the official UK EVO launch site
5. After a 4 hour layover in Singapore airport on the way back, where I was so tempted to buy a PS3, an iPod, a new HTC S620 mobile, a new fancy watch, (which was more airport shopping madness than my spending ability!) I've decided that I need to satisfy the gadget hunger inside of me. And I think I may show the Firm some support and get a Zune when I'm out in Seattle in a month or so - especially now it supports Vista (Zune team - what were you thinking?! I could've had mine a whole lot sooner)
