Published 18 June 07 11:33 PM

You have one of those days when demos don't work perfectly and today was one of them. Thankfully all the slides and demos are available for you to download and working perfectly (some of the issues were to down to my machine playing up which you won't have the same issues).

Mac demos - Fox video player and Silverlight Airlines demo

Silverlight 1.0 Basics - shows the concept of XAML, Canvas, Shapes, Transformations, Animation and Javascript programming

Silvelright 1.1 Debugging - shows having the CLR and Visual Studio integration.

Silvelright Media Player 1.1 - uber simple video player, 1 LOC for the video element

Silverlight streaming - http://streaming.live.com

Derren Brown -  mind tricks  ;-)

All available for download here (mind tricks and WMV files removed to save on download)

On a side note, I'm interested to hear your views as students on the world of Web 2.0 (after Mark Quirks session) and how you use the major social networking sites and services such as blogging for your student and academic lives. In that vain I've used Twiigs.com to create a quick poll and would appreciate you answering:

  • Blogs
  • Facebook
  • Bebo
  • Wikis
  • Second Life
  • Don't use any of the above

I will shortly be posting all the other decks and resources on my blog at: http://blogs.msdn.com/edunhill
