Fancy Some Cirque du Soleil Tonight?
image

I'm just finishing up my notes from watching some of the Mix 08 keynotes and sessions which was held last week in Las Vegas.

In honour of all the enormous announcements and releases from last week, Clare Dillon and I are hosting a Mix watching party tonight at Odessa!  If you didn't get a chance to see the keynotes or if you wanted to ask some questions about Silverlight 2, IE 8 Beta, Expression or any other web technologies, or if you just want to watch some cool demos and enjoy some drinks and snacks with fun people, please come along!

We will be watching some of the Scott Guthrie/Ray Ozzie keynotes, and demos (including Scott auditioning for Cirque du Soleil!), as well as showcasing the new Internet Explorer 8 Beta and Expression Studio 2 Beta.  You can also see Steve Ballmer talking with Guy Kawasaki and raving about web developers!

imageWe'll kick off around 7pm at Odessa (the club upstairs, not the restaurant).  If you're interested  in coming along or have any questions, please drop me an e-mail at martharo [at] microsoft.com.

Odessa is located at 14 Dame Court, and if you get lost or need directions, their number is +353 (0)1 6707634.

See you tonight!

Doh - sorry Des!  Yes, there are links to the videos online - I will post them for you tomorrow.

I don't have too many details on Silverlight Mobile just yet except that it will be on Windows Mobile & Nokia s60 phones, hoping for end of this year.  I'll do a followup blog post on a few additional details I have, too.

Thanks for your interest, Des.
