Have Ideas on Co-working spaces?
A few weeks ago the brilliant Sabrina Dent had a great blog post where she challenged bloggers in Ireland to post their work spaces. As I was right in the middle of moving, I didn’t have a picture to post, and since then I’d had guests in town so my apartment has been a bit, um, full. (Now of course, I have no excuse, so I’ll get that picture this weekend with any luck.) I thought it was an awesome idea because everyone has different needs for their workspace, and it’s inspiring to see others’ work environments. Moving gave me a chance to redo my space, and I enjoyed reorganizing to [attempt to] be more productive.
What about your workspace? If you redid your work area today, whether it’s in an office or it’s at your home, what would you change? Evert Bopp, coordinator of the Open Coffee Club BBQ this summer and all around go-getter extraordinaire, is looking for people’s thoughts on co-working spaces and start-up centers. Evert is interested in setting up a hub for techies and wrote a blog post yesterday seeking opinions and suggestions on work areas.
