Back from Holidays and Upcoming Events
I just returned from an amazing holiday in Iceland where I spent 12 days road-tripping, climbing glaciers, exploring fjords, sea fishing for cod, and monkfish, snorkeling between continents, eating unbelievable food, hiking lava fields and enjoying the wonders of geothermally heated lagoons. In short, Iceland is an incredible place and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I can’t wait to go back to Iceland, there is so much to do there.
I’m still working on editing my pictures, but here’s a picture of a very cute monkfish for you to enjoy, as well as a picture of me jumping into a waterfall (don’t worry – I survived):

This Autumn is jam-packed already. Lots of events on the calendars and lots of exciting releases coming your way, too. I’m *very* excited to be heading off to FOWD tomorrow in Belfast. And next week, on Thursday September 10th, MTUG Dublin is having me speak on Sketchflow, Silverlight 3 & SuperPreview. You can register for that event here.
One upcoming thing I wanted to ask around about: I am running a couple of free, small, very intensive training clinics for Silverlight & Expression Studio. I am looking for designers and developers who might be interested as well as feedback. The clinics are a bit time-intensive with two classroom sessions / week followed by some light homework for two weeks, but I have plenty of goodies for attendees to make it worth your time. If you or someone you work with might be interested in attending, please let me know & I’ll see which dates might work for you.
