Developing the Future is a report commissioned by Microsoft but written by a number of contributors who come from the IT Industry and academia.

Developing the future 2007 is the second report so far and actually makes some very interesting reading, its a bit like a boiled down, UK specific version of The World Is Flat by Thomas L. Friedman . This publication leans a little heavily on the academia side of the report in my opinion. But still worth a view! (as is The World is Flat but will take you a little longer to read!!)
This report provides a really interesting view on how technology and innovation will impact all our lives.
