If you're having problems sending or receiving photos with someone else, both of you should remove Max from your Windows Firewall exceptions list. Here’s how:
  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Security Center, and then click Windows Firewall.
  3. Click the Exceptions tab.
  4. Under Programs and Services, clear the Microsoft Codename Max check box, and then click OK.
Removing Max from your Windows Firewall exceptions list forces Max to use relay servers for guaranteed delivery.
