If you’re already running Max and you continue to receive e-mails asking you to install Max, please try the following:
  1. Make sure Max is properly installed by clicking the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Microsoft Max. If Max does not start, you can get help with your installation on our team blog.
  2. Make sure you’re signed in to Max with your Microsoft Passport account.
  3. Once you’ve signed in to Max, make sure your friends and family use your Microsoft Passport account when they invite you to download their lists.
