Liana wants to help tell your stories to a bigger audience. Microsoft learning is currently looking to interview those who work in the IT industry on their work experience as Microsoft Certified Professionals. If you hold certifications as a MSITP, MCPD, and MCTS in the following technologies such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Forefront, Microsoft Systems Center/Infrastructure, or Microsoft Vista, we want to hear from you.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

If you’re interested in telling your success stories, and you get selected for an interview, you’ll find your story published on Microsoft’s websites and portals. We’ll make your story into a case study that will be provided to Microsoft’s largest enterprise customers. Talk about a career boost.

What we want to know is: Who you are, and what you can do with Microsoft’s new generation of certifications. Every time. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Executive summary of the study above is that you get to work with smart folks. For the employer, it's better to get all IT team Microsoft certified as it improves the level of performance across the team and provides consistent IT delivery and performance. Afraid that your employee will leave after you get them certified? The answer is really simple. Hire them, and then certify them right away. Don't wait 2-3 years to get them certified. They're probably already disgruntled by then that you didn't get them their Microsoft certifications and want to leave to a better job. As an employer, you get up front benefits from a very satisfied employee who will provide you with a higher level of performance. Most employees switch jobs every few years. Most switching maybe every 2-4 depending on their age and career desires. By spending the training dollars up front to get them certified, employers get the benefits of Microsoft certification right away.

It was a great job that I really loved, but it's time for me to stretch my wings a bit and get some more interesting challenges under my marketing belt. Towards that goal, I've taken a job as the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Community Marketing Manager in Microsoft Learning. I'm very excited about this, as I have an MCSE in NT4/Windows 2000, and I'd like to work to get my MCSE updated for Windows Server 2008. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

He's the guy that founded the Novell Certified Engineer program back in the day. Well he's here now at Microsoft Learning, and he's going to be a key player in redesigning Microsoft Certifications to improve its value to the IT Professional and developer who currently holds Microsoft Certifications and are looking to get new certifications. Stay tuned. Exciting days are ahead in the days of the Microsoft Certified Professional.
