Mel Sampat on Windows Mobile
Check out this IP phone

My buddy KintanB, a PM in the Live Communications Server group just sent me a link to the coolest office phone ever. Click here for a larger picture. The entire shell seems to be comprised of Office Communicator, which is a secure enterprise IM application. Everyone at Microsoft uses Office Communicator on their desktops or Windows Mobile devices. So this UI looks very familiar but I'd just never imagined seeing it on an office phone! It is my understanding that this phone is a prototype based on Windows CE, but no verification on that yet. Do you think this phone might someday run Windows Mobile-style applications? Can you think of the kinds of applications an end-user would want to install on his or her office phone? Food for thought. Dogfood for us :)
