I very much enjoyed the sessions you and Dan were a part of and think they were two of the best at the whole conference. I hope I didn't pester you guys too much with my questions and concerns but I was *really* excited to see my faith in .NET wasn't misplaced. Visual Studio 2005 is amazing and I'm looking forward to it's release along with the 'gold' version of the Shareware Starter Kit (which is also excellent).

I brought up several things to you and Dan at the conference but I wanted to reiterate the importance of making the existence of the 'ngen.exe' tool known. Many, many author I've tried to convince to try .NET bring up the security of the code as their #1 concern (the requirement for the 20 meg .NET framework is the second). Ngen.exe being able to produce native images is a very, very significant piece of information!

Anyway, thank you for being there (physically and idealogically) and I look forward to seeing you next year!

Adventures In SoftwareLand Shareware Industry Conference Day 2 Friday | Insomnia Cure

PingBack from http://insomniacuresite.info/story.php?id=5201
