Toggling this option causes deletes to be non-destructive, and in the above scenario the user would see a new item downloaded for post B1 even though he deleted the original item in Outlook."

We nee that option if we want to stay informed of future updates/changes. Obviously, there is no way that Outlook can change the way people decide they want to update their own RSS info (blog, feed, whatever). Se we do need this option.

Thanks,
~Toby

re: Dupes part deux

I'd even go one step further and argue that the option should be toggled for the "non-destructive" option.

That's my .02.

The Insider by Sidebar Geek : Thoughts on Outlook 2007 Feed Duplicates

PingBack from http://hive.net/Member/blogs/the_insider/archive/2006/07/10/Thoughts-on-Outlook-2007-Feed-Duplicates.aspx

[tweblog.com] - Toby Getsch » Blog Archive » Handling RSS duplicates in Outlook 2007 - some conversation

PingBack from http://tweblog.wordpress.com/2006/07/10/handling-rss-duplicates-in-outlook-2007-some-conversation/

re: Dupes part deux

Michael,
In the design, has MS considered the Beta2 issue that when a user moves a RSS folder from .ost to .pst (and changes the delivery location to that folder) all RSS feeds belonging to that folder are received a second time? If it does, meaning the user has not deleted the item, then we will automatically update the content of the old post with the new content from the feed."

The only question I have is this - if a RSS post has been updated, how is the user supposed to realize that a post has been updated - will it appear as "Unread" again? Or will the user required to manualy go through all the messages, and notice if a sentence was added, or changed or something? If thats the case - how do you expect the user to realize that something in the post has been changed??

» Microsoft Response To Outlook RSS Design InsideMicrosoft - part of the Blog News Channel

PingBack from http://microsoft.blognewschannel.com/index.php/archives/2006/07/12/microsoft-response-to-outlook-rss-design/

The Web “Inside and Out” » Blog Archive » Microsoft Response To Outlook RSS Design

PingBack from http://wsuntech.com/esh/?p=406

re: Dupes part deux

gay cowboy personals
little boys winter coat formal
dating free gay personals
advance boy cheat game pokemon ruby
sexy gay males
Office 12 Watch » RSS Functionality in Outlook

PingBack from http://www.office12watch.com/rss-functionality-in-outlook/
