Over the past decade, he has worked on numerous documentation and training projects for a variety of software applications, including Microsoft FrontPage, Microsoft PhotoDraw, Microsoft Office InfoPath, Microsoft Search Server, and Microsoft Office OneNote. When he’s not busy setting up computers for friends and family members, Michael is most likely designing Web sites and graphics, reading a good book, continuing his Japanese studies, or playing the latest video games.

The title of Michael’s blog, “Nota Bene,” is an imperative Latin phrase that literally means “note well” or “take note” — instructing an individual to take note of what follows. In present-day written English, “Nota Bene” is often used to draw a reader’s attention to certain details of the subject at hand. The phrase often appears in its abbreviated form (“N.B.”).
