SharePoint Designer Reformat HTML

OK, this goes under silly things that should be obvious but...

My SharePoint nav widget is not closing html tags correctly, and I wanted to take the blob of html that is pumped out by the web part and see it nicely indented and color coded in SharePoint Designer or Expression Web in order to locate the problem...

Only it took me way too long to figure out how to get SPD to reformat the blob - the help system is no help. Hopefully this will save you some time.

Open a blank html page in SPD, paste your html in between the body tags. Then right click on the page and select "Reformat HTML". It's only on the context menu.
