As mentioned earlier, we have the final list of researchers awarded grants for proposed work related to Rotor.  The list is now public.  Check it out: there are many very exciting projects there.

What about the 1st RFP, how do I find out the statuses? what are the ultimate results? ...it's very hard to find information on them...

For example:
I looking at the Apr/May 2002 RFP ( http://research.microsoft.com/Collaboration/University/Europe/RFP/Rotor/rotorProjects.aspx ) and following the link "Advanced Debugging in .NET" (
http://iti.spbu.ru/eng/grants/Debugging.asp ), it have no status information on published papers or the final results of the project....

I'm about to leave for the airport, so I don't have time to find out the details on this particular project. Have you tried contacting the principal investigator of this project? That web page has names and emails of four people, they should be able to tell you what the current status is.
