Toilet-Book (a book printed on bathroom tissue)

I like to read books in the bathtub and in a clean restroom. I think there are many people like me who enjoy reading books and magazines in the restroom and I think they would love this product.

Toilet-Book at a Book store
According to the publisher the "Toilet Book" is 30m long doubled bathroom tissue with about 3000 words of summary of philosophy book. It's about 4 dollars per roll, kind of expensive as a bathroom tissue though they are now sold in 30 bookstores in Japan. The publisher says it is difficult to print entire book to a bathroom tissue with current printing technology. But I think it's totally fine otherwise we would keep reading it from the beginning to the end. hey, I've got a better idea. If we can use this printing technology and create new self-learning kit... "Teach Yourself xxxxx(product name) in one roll" and sell (or give) it at TechEd or other Microsoft event... you will be able to gain 30m of knowledge : )

Er, what if you don't live alone and someone else, um, "reads" part of you book?

Interesting. But I'm glad I'm not the author of what they're prining on there. Something about all those people reading my work then wiping their ass with it seems... well, wrong to me...

I wrote this blog quite long time ago and I'm not sure you can still buy this product. Syhnjusha is one of major publisher in Japan and this company was selling "Toilet-Book". It was about $10 for 2 rolls.

According to the web page below "Check the availability via phone or email(chumon@shunjusha.co.jp) first."
