The Microsoft CRM Connector for GP Setup does not allow customers to use an existing Microsoft CRM Connector for GP database. However, customers can change a registry setting to point to another Microsoft CRM Connector for GP database once Setup has installed the Microsoft CRM Connector for GP.

 

Details of this registry setting are as follows:

  • Change the string value of INT_DB under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\MSCRMIntegration\DataSources to Initial Catalog=<ExistingDatabaseName>;Data Source=Integration DB Server;Integrated Security=SSPI
