My friend Norma Smith got her WAY cool booths mentioned in this InfoWorld article. Her booths where one of my favorite things about Convergence... Way to go Norma!!! Next time you see these, make sure and hop in... My favorite part was handing out 10 Starubcks Gift cards to random partners and customers...

Partner Day Session Evals

Alright all of you partners that went to Convergence... On Saturday, partner day, we did a number of sessions... For those of you who attended the one that Christian lead and Sonia and I particpated in, would you guys mind turning in your evals? It is easy, just visit www.msconvergence.com and enter your username and password. The room easily had 100 people in it... And we got a very slim number of folks submitting evals... Please help... The feedback is taken VERY seriously and is something we take into account for next year...

My apologies in not getting this up sooner. I flew home on the red-eye on Wednesday night, drove from Dulles Airport to BWI Airport, flew to Rochester, drove to my parent's house and did a LiveMeeting for ~ 100 partners on this almost same material. Convergence 2007 Day Two

I have lots to post from Day Two. Was great meeting a bunch of partners and customers. Felt a bit surreal being on the main stage. Demo went pretty well, which shocked even me. :-) I will be posting more a little later. Gotta take a nap... Look for some recaps a little later today.

Convergence Day One

So I have spent most of the day here today at Convergence in a pretty neat place. I was back stage preparing for tommorow morning's keynote. If your so inclined, you can see a short demo of Microsoft CRM v3c with Office 2007 and Vista tommorow morning during Satya's Keynote. (Along with a killer GP 10 Demo...)

While you as a partner or customer are here at Convergence, please check out the Speak your Mind Booths near the company store. If you are caught with a sticker from using the booth, you may get stopped with a special gift from the CPE team.

Bring back RIO.... Yeah, the Connect site is pretty bad... One of the team members I was talking to this morning told me that they changed from RIO as it was no longer available and that some of the features like not being able to search for folks on Connect was a "feature" partners actually asked for... I would love to give this team member feedback... What do you want from the connect site? The fear from partners was customer poaching.... Which leads to some of the unique scenarios we have now... :-) Please leave a comment or send me an email, I will forward to the team... :-)

@ Convergence 2007

I know it doesn't start until Sunday Evening, but I am out a little early to get some work and meetings with partners done before Convergence actually begins. (And I have a few demo's to prep for that will be delivered at Convergence.) Arrived last night on a JetBlue flight that left and arrived on time. :-) This is the view out of the hotel window this morning when I woke up... Why do I live in DC again? :-)
