First things first...

This is my first post to my blog. Before I get into the details that I came here to write, I wanted to introduce myself and lay down the rules.

About me and my blog:
My name is Mike Fried and for the last 5 years I have been a developer in the PowerPoint Team working on Office 2003 and 2007. I have established this blog so that I can write about things which interest me and may also be of interest to PowerPoint customers. I am writing this blog for advanced PowerPoint users, designers/graphic artists, developers, and friends and colleagues.

Rules:
All posts are provided "AS IS" with no warranties and confer no rights. The views expressed on this blog are mine and do not necessarily reflect the views of my employer. I reserve the right to edit posts and comments at any time and for any reason. I reserve the right to take measures to prevent spam. I reserve the right to change the rules. Comments on posts will normally close one week after posting.

Suggestions:
From time to time, I will write "Future Topics" posts. These are your opportunities to suggest where you want me to go with this blog.

PowerPoint support:
It is not a goal of this blog to answer support questions about PowerPoint. There are far better places to go for this. If you have a question about PowerPoint that isn't answered in the PowerPoint FAQ provided by the PowerPoint MVPs then the odds are you will find an answer if you  search  the PowerPoint Newsgroup.
