CE 6.0 Electronic Picture Frame using CellCore to pull photos from RSS feeds

Check this out - While Rory was in my office talking about the differences between CE, XPE and WEPOS we also took a look at one of the CE 6.0 launch demos.

CE 6.0 exposes "CellCore" (which is already supported on Windows Mobile 5.0), CellCore exposes a set of APIs for the application developer and an interface layer that cell technology providers can plug their drivers into, this means that an application developer doesn't need to know about the underlying hardware (good thing) and simply calls the exposed APIs (SMSSendMessage for example).

For the CE 6.0 launch I built an electronic picture frame that connects over a GPRS cell connection (using RasDial functions) to connect to Windows Live Spaces or Flickr to pull images and display on the frame (local images are also supported on a USB key) - this means that the frame is always up to date and doesn't rely on a home network.
