I wanted to give you an update on the event plans for the coming year - you may have already heard that we won't be hosting an MEDC event this year (sad, but true). But will be involved in other events throughout the year.
Your comment about the content is very interesting.

At the EMEA MEDC it's always been a cut down number of sessions, which is fine and better than just on line.

But I think the important note is that they are sometimes not presented by the same key people they are in the US. This is not a dig at the presenters, because the always do a great job. Just it's not their original presentation and I think some of the details are lost.

Maybe the sessions and tracks could be selected with the avalable team in mind.

Anyway looking foward to the 2008 events in EMEA.

Regards

Nigel Goodyear

We could watch, learn and interact via a broadband link-up.

We could hold it on a weekend as we have been doing with the Code Camps and it can all be recorded so everybody can see the sessions and Tracks they missed.

Not considering the double time spent (hotel, travel etc).

From our point a view ( a small sw house) it's absolutely not the same!
