Move over System.IO.Packaging, Hello Open XML SDK

Of course while I'm off creating more Office Open XML nuggets about the System.IO.Packaging APIs, the Office team announce something that I've been hoping to see for a while - an Open XML SDK. Announced at TechEd US, this is a preview release of a managed API for the Open XML file format. That means taking it up a level and giving you access to strongly typed objects instead of generic parts and relationships. Read more on Brian Jones's blog.

Now looking forward to doing some nuggets on the Open XML SDK... :-)
