Deployment still is a sort of nightmare when install goes over the small standalone app.
This sounds like the light at the end of the tunnel... ;-)

You mention the 2k3 bootstrapper on MSDN that lets you bootstrap the .Net runtime and MDAC along with your VS Setup project',
would you be able to point me to a link to this tool, I seen a tool on MSDN that can install the framework but not both .NET and MDAC.
