System Center Essentials Server Limit of 30
Per your request, I went back to the SCE product team and asked if there were going to be any updates in the near future on the 30 server limit in System Center Essentials. Currently, the limit is 30 and it is a hard-coded limit. There are no plans, at this time, to increase that number. You can monitor 30 servers; 31 including the SCE server and 500 clients. You can also monitor non-windows clients running SNMP software; and that does not take away from your 500 count.
