I Heard that SCE Purchases Required Software Assurance. Is That True?
No, that is not true. System Center Essentials purchases do not require that you purchase Software Assurance. The only product that is sold on top of SA at this time is Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP). SCE is the monitoring solution for midsize and small businesses and Software Assurance gives you added benefits. Great question this week. Glad that we could provide clarification.
