How will Microsoft Implement Auto-attendant in its Unified Communication Vision?

Great question from last week's event. Auto-attendant is a set of voice prompts that gives external users access to the Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging system. An auto attendant lets the user use either the telephone keypad or speech inputs to navigate the menu structure, place a call to a user, or locate a user and then place a call to that user. The great news is that this feature will be available in Exchange 2007 SP1.

For more details and how-to, please refer to the Office Communications Server 2007 Document: Enterprise Voice Planning and Deployment Guide at the following location: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=24E72DAC-2B26-4F43-BBA2-60488F2ACA8D&displaylang=en.
