Going online - Key business survival

I came across this excelelnt article recently in Wall Street on how retailers are still behind in going online. Providing a seamless online presence is no longer a luxury but rather a need for business survival. Providing an integrated user experience across channels makes the retailer all the appealing to the customers and builds loyalty.

I feel the article was right on in terms of the need and importance of establishing a credible online presence. Especially considering the prevalence of broadband and growth in wi-fi connectivity it is important to take the store the user as opposed to asking the user to come to the store.

what do you think?
