ePayments
I recently spoke at an event and the question I asked is "how many of you have cash in your wallets?" and the answer was not many. Which didn't surprise me a bit as we're increasingly becoming a cash-less society. We use plastic more and more, already checks are on the decline and new forms of payments are entering the market which have the potential to further move us away from cash.
For example the contactless payments, bio-metric payments, mobile payments, etc have huge potential further alienate us from cash, provided they are implemented well. I was excited to read the paper from Booz Allen Hamilton which emphasizes my point.
What do you think?
