There has been tremendous interested from the ISV (Independent Software Vendor) community for a standard in this. Its finally great to see the first specification completed and ready for utilization by the community. Beacuse of particiaption of many vendors in the creation of the standards, they tend to be vendor neutral, utilize some common language, such as XML and benefit the customer. It is ultimately the customer that wins when are standards are created and adapted by the industry.
