Microsoft @ JavaOne 2007
About: This blog post is about Microsoft's participation at JavaOne 2007
Greetings,
Like the last three years, Microsoft will participate at the JavaOne 2007 in San Fransisco this year as well. Microsoft will present three sessions at the conference including a session by Kevin and I on implementing a hybrid SOA in an enterprise. My session will discuss key tenants and challenges in implementing an SOA that spans Java and .NET. We will discuss and demonstrate strategies for consuming services, implementing transactions, propagating security credentials and achieving reliable messaging across technology boundaries. To my friends who will blog against the term hybrid SOA, yes I do realize that an SOA is interoperable by definition but unfortunately in the real world there are serious limitations around the current set of standards. Our session will provide real world examples how to resolve some of the challenges in achieving features required by an enterprise.
If you are a reader of my blog and plan to attend JavaOne 2007, please drop by to say hello. I really enjoyed meeting all of you at the last JavaOne. Finally, like last year I will provide a daily account from the conference
Best regards,
Mohammad
