various regkeys for the HTC Tornado/Faraday based smartphones
There are a few regkeys of interest for some people.
These are known for the tornado and faraday based smartphones (like my Cingular 2125).
- If you have an EDGE phone and EDGE service is available in your area but you never see the "E" icon (only "G" for GPRS) then this regkey might be set
- HKLM\Drivers\builtin\RIL\EnableDifferGprsEdgeIcon (set to 1 to show diff icons, 0 to only show G)
- Want your GPRS/Edge to auto disconnect (saves battery)?
- HKLM\Drivers\builtin\RIL\GPRSAutoDetach (set to 1 to auto disconnect)
