A New Series: MSBuild in Visual Studio
Last week Rajeev gave a presentation on the integration between MSBuild and the Visual Studio. It was an absolutely fascinating view into the coupling between these two very important parts of working with VS, and over the next couple of weeks we’ll be sharing the content of his deck with everyone. Along the way you’ll get to see how VS uses the same MSBuild object model that is documented on MSDN, some of the warts in our current system, some of the tough design decisions we had to make along the way, and some of sneaky ways you can affect the Visual Studio experience. It’s sure to be an exciting series, so stay tuned!
