Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the Lead - according to Gartner

Microsoft Dynamics CRM accelerates for Sales, Marketing and Service Management processes, we all know that. Now, with CCF – Customer Care Framework, Gartner acknowledges this by placing Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the "Leader" quadrant on the April 2009 released Gartner Magic Quadrant for Customer Service Contact Centers.

Gartner says this:

The addition of the Microsoft CCF is a boost to Microsoft Dynamics CRM's capabilities.
The user interface is intuitive and appeals to broad audiences familiar with the look-and-feel of Microsoft's applications.
Microsoft is investing in knowledge solutions, Web self-service, business process capabilities and industry versions, adding to its basic customer service functionality.
The concept of xRM, where the customer is given the tools to create its own brand of CRM solution, is useful to reach a broad audience

The short-cut for knowledge: Microsoft Dynamics Insights

You spoke and we listened. We need to give you information more clearly and coordinated, targeted and streamlined. You as a partner need to have a better use of the many information channels coming out of Microsoft.

The answer is the Insights News Tool.

Maybe you already heard about Microsoft Dynamics Insights, or just 'Insights' for short, and are even using it. If not, here are some quick pointers to get you started.

We are in the process of rolling Insights out to partners, replacing Journal, various e-mail lists and other information tools. You as a partner are encouraged to sign-up to Insights and get going with this tool as your primary news feed.

Soon we will be addressing our customer community with Insights as well and then all our partners will have the opportunity to participate in the communication, adding their own news and contributions.

Best of ... in Iceland - Thank you to all participants

Big thanks to all attendees for participating in this great event. We hope and feel you got something valuable out of the two days and from the responses it really looks that way.

From the very first minute the event bussed and sizzled with expectations and energy. The keynote on day 1 kicked off with near to 500 people and the number just kept rising.

A special thanks from me to all the attendees at my sessions and to my fellow event team mates. It was great and fun to be there and meet with you all.

In the words of Tine Plambech Pedersen, Acting Dynamics Lead Iceland: "We have been witnessing history during the last two days as we were able to attract more than 800 attendees to our “Best of Convergence and TechED” event. Best of ... in Iceland - ready to go!

We are ready to welcome you to this fantastic and enormous event. We have crossed the 800 participants mark and are still registering IT- and Business-people from the Icelandic community. Some are calling us and asking us to please “squeeze me into the event” plus we are expecting walk-ins as well, and ALL are welcome!

Microsoft Iceland is doing a great job to make it memorable and valuable for all and we are very proud of the big interest.

Besides the 32 sessions we have arranged many side meetings, 17 Icelandic partners are on location, you can go deep with us in the “Expert Corner” and much more.

Tomorrow morning at 8.30 the registrations begin and at 9.15 we are kicking off the event with the keynote by Halldór Jörgensson.

Best of Convergence & TechEd in Iceland 19th - 20th of January 2009

In our efforts for the Islandic community we are bringing the world of Microsoft to Iceland - gathering the very best of TechEd 2008 and Convergence 2008 for a great event this January!

In the enthusiastic words of Eric Heinen, Partner Technology Specialist, Microsoft Iceland and one of the architects of this activity: “A fantastic line-up we have. 19 speakers from 8 countries in 3 continents doing 32 sessions. This is the biggest thing we‘ve ever done in Iceland.”

We estimate over 400 participants for this event and will do whatever possible to give them all a very big and valuable experience with a lot of useful information, networking, ready-to-use knowledge and business opportunities and much more.
