Microsoft CRM and Exchange 2007

Since Ben is slow as a snail these days I have to make this posting. As of yesterday the updated Exchange E-Mail Router, with compatibility for Exchange 2007 has been available! This update allows for the distribution of CRM e-mail forwarding rules to mailboxes living on Exchange Server 2007.

Grrrr...... Why oh why is Microsoft making me keep an Exchange 2003 box when I want to upgrade to 2007. I have been waiting on this update to do the 2007 Upgrade and now it seems that that won't be happening!!!

Nah... I am not into cutting and pasting like you do... :-)

MikeS,

It may have to do with the fact that Exchange 2007 is a 64 bit only platform...

I'm trying to figure out if I can use MS CRM with Exchange 2007. I don't have an installation of an earlier version of Exchange.

Please advise.

Thank you,

Tom

Tom,

Microsoft CRM does work with Exchange 2007, but the router does require an Exchange 2003 box as of today. The productteam is working on that as you could see in the previous comments.

Thanks for the clarification.

Is there a time frame for the release of a Microsoft CRM that will not require Exchange 2000/2003?

Tom, The next release "Titan" will not require 2003 in order to run it on an Exchange 2007 box.
