Women Less likely to get viruses

"Two studies released this morning by London-based StreamShield Networks, a provider of security products, indicate that the public is largely ignorant of online threats. The second study demonstrates that women Internet users are less likely than men to succumb to viruses and the like. StreamShield measured online fraud, viruses, spam, unwanted pop-up ads, spyware, phishing and keyloggers. The firm said, in fact, that in all categories women experienced fewer difficulties than men, even though a higher percentage of men are aware of computer viruses, spyware, adware, et al."
