Looking for .NET books?

Join a book club! The .NET Book Club (disclaimer: not a Microsoft site or program) is forming up local chapters now - it's a great way to get discounts on books, see chapter previews, and otherwise get plugged into the community around your favorite .NET authors.

Why do people have to register in order to see any content? In this day and age, I hate to give away any of my email addresses unless I'm sure this is something I'd really like. If you'd at least let people see the current content, that would entice them to register to see it all.

Hi Eric-
Are you referring to the Book Club or to the MSDN Student Flash e-newsletter?

If the newsletter, after each issue is published we will put it up in HTML format on the site at http://msdn.microsoft.com/academic/studentflash. The reason nothing is posted now is we are still counting down to the first issue (due 10/11). Great point though, that's just what we're working on.
